Delish! We were just passing through. The staff was very, very friendly! The food was very tasty! Only complaint was the sweet tea was not great... But I didn't really need it anyways🤷...The friendliness of our waitress made up for that. Would definitely go back.

Definitely the best Mexican restaurant in CenLa. I've been eating here for over 20 years and can attest to the quality of the food and service. This restaurant is usually my families choice of meal.

Waiter was incredibly rude, even argued with me over my order being wrong. The lady manager ended up being our waitress for the rest of the time we were there. She was pleasant. Two stars for her. Wasn't impressed with the food at all. Queso was watery, salsa did not taste fresh, and food came to table cold. Save your money and eat somewhere else.

Always great food, friendly and fast staff, and the best prices in town! Two people can eat from the lunch menu for less than the price of 2 meals from a fast food place! Don't forget to try the mango margarita 🍹

OMG this place was great from the parking to the decor staff and most of all food!!! We will be back !!! Hubs had the steak quesadilla it was loaded with meat and cheese I had the beef chimichanga it was so crisp!!!!

Prices were reasonable. Quality was surprisingly great. Service was helpful and attentive. Great authentic atmosphere.

This was the worse Mexican restaurant I ever been to. They messed up my order, forgot items I ordered, and over charge me. I would not recommend going back. Service was so bad I felt the need to leave this review. They completely ruined my July 4th. I truly recommend finding finding another place to eat unless you enjoy getting cheated.

Visited while on a quick meeting trip. Very good food, salsa and chips were great. Best thing, the speedy accurate service for a large group. Highly recommend!

Just horrible food. The Queso was runny Carne Asada served with a bunch of raw onions on top, the meat wasn’t even skirt steak, salty refried beans. The margarita was decent.

The Chicken Fajita Bowl is delicious! Just the combination of rice, chicken, veggies and cheese. Wish some place in Lake Charles served this.

I'm actually surprised I've only been here once. My only experience was at lunchtime, and it was actually pretty good. I had some enchiladas, and wolfed them down. Very tasty. El Paso down the street was briefly the best Mexican food in Alexandria when it opened, but the quality fell sharply after a month or so. Otherwise, I've regarded Julia's as the best here. I do need to give El Reparo additional opportunities though, because it's possible the true champion has been right under my nose all this time.EDIT: The family and I have been back several times since the original review, and I think this place has become my favorite Mexican food joint in Alexandria. It's consistently good, especially the enchiladas. Also, for bonus points, our bill seems to be significantly lower than other places ordering similar stuff. It's definitely not the level of better Tex-Mex places in Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio, but definitely a good destination in Central LA.

Everything was "okay". The chips weren't the freshest, but okay. Queso was extremely runny, salsa okay. They had 2 for 1 margs on a Friday night which was a plus. Food was good and service was average. Not the best I've been to, but it's good if you're looking for sonewhere that has happy hour.

Loved it! Food and staff was great. Atmosphere was casual and our waitress was personable. Margarita Special 2 for 1...delicious!

When you are used to mexican food it's hard to find an authentic mexican restaurant. I can easily and happily say we found one here in lousiana.

Customer service was great, the food that's a different story. I got the enchilada plate and a guacamole and my husband got the street tacos order and the only thing I liked was the guacamole and my husbands order already had hit sauce on them and it was too spicy to enjoy. My pineapple drink was way too sweet I had to get a glass of water to dilute it to taste.

Me, and my wife eat there, for lunch sometimes, and it's always consistent, and for the value, and the quality of the food you can't go wrong!

The best Mexican restaurant in Alexandria. Every time we go we get their Quesadillas. They are huge! They have great prices, great service and amazing food. The restaurant is clean and always has a great atmosphere.
